About The Project:
The clients are two siblings from Kolkata who work as IT professionals. They wanted to live in Bangalore despite the fact that they are not locals. The client had a clear requirement that they want to begin the project jointly with the same estimation and requirements. So, we did a twin house design for them which followed basic Vastu. Options for planning layouts were presented. Detailing and construction proceeded with the layout that was chosen.
For the duplex house design, we went with a contemporary house design style approach. However, the client preferred a more modern house design. As a result, we designed a structure in a modernist style with simpler elements. Even in the house elevation, we emphasized the façade and the twin home by accentuating the balconies that face one other and are projected a bit out from the façade.
Twin House Design:
Twin houses are the most self-contained of linked dwelling units. These kinds of homes can either be attached like a row house or be separated. They may or may not be mirror images.
