About Ultra-Modern Contemporary Project:

Currently, the client desired to construct a G+1 structure with the possibility of future development, and they desired to extend the upper levels up to three stories, with the second and third floors serving as duplexes and the ground and first floors serving as rental units.

The ground level is currently rented, while the family lives on the first story. They’ll construct the upper stories after they raise the required funds for it.

Planning:

The residence is a G+1 structure with a terrace. The residences have two entrances in total on the Eastern side. One vehicular entrance and one pedestrian entry gate are provided. There is enough parking space for two automobiles. The clients’ main requirements were Vastu-centric designs as well as usability considerations because this is a rental.

The ground floor is designed as a one-bedroom residence for rental purposes, with two parking spaces. An outdoor staircase leads to the upper level, where there is another two-bedroom dwelling. It is a three-bedroom duplex with double height on the upper floors.

The master bedroom on the first level has an attached toilet, while the other bedroom has a common toilet. Two spaces are designed such that they face the road. The utility is one, and the balcony is the other.

Semi-open kitchen and dining concept has been incorporated into the design in order to fully utilize the space.  An open living and dining area has also been integrated into the design and the living is smaller as compared to the standard sizes.

And the Puja is recessed into the wall as you enter the lobby, and they have a lovely balcony overlooking the road with access from the dining space.

Elevation Features:

  • Large Windows and Lots of Natural Light.
  • The double-height facade facile covered with CNC cuts on the left hand of the elevation improves the overall aesthetics of the buildings.
  • The semi-covered area on top which is done by fabrication work gives a very good finish to the overall building.
  • The balcony and the standing wall projecting outward from the structure on the right-hand side add to the elevation feature.
  • A contemporary style 6-foot high compound wall gives the building a nice finish.

A façade facile has been constructed on the left-hand side of the elevation in front of the stairway since it has to be covered. Altogether, CNC cuts have been made to cover it. Its double height contributes to the overall beauty of the elevation

We’ve covered the utility since it arrived in the middle and did fabrication work on the left-hand side of the utility space, and then produced walls to cover the places where the washing machine and sink come in. For the utility walls, we have played with multiple layers of skin walls.

There are three layers of skin walls, the first one is the parapet wall extended from the first-floor bottom to the second-floor parapet region. then comes the screen wall which is of brick cladding, and then comes the third wall which is covered with a marble/granite finish.

On the right, there is a simple, one-of-a-kind balcony and a standing wall jutting outward from the structure to provide the elevation feature. To provide a high level of finish to the entire structure, we created a semi-covered space on top, which has been accomplished with fabrication work. Pedestrian and vehicular entrances have been segregated, and a six-foot-high compound wall has been created in a proper contemporary style.
