The story of a client who wanted a Spanish House Design -
Spanish House Design epitomizes the dream of every couple to own a home they can call their own. A home where they can create memories, grow their family and share their lives. One couple from the north with an IT background who resided in an apartment in a bustling city in a gated community in Bangalore had this dream. They wanted a Spanish House Design that was unique and practical, with sustainable features and enough room for their growing family.
Client Requirements-
After conducting extensive online research, they stumbled upon our architectural firm. They had a clear vision of what they desired – a G+1 villa with 4 to 5 bedrooms, an open-plan layout, and a workshop for the husband’s carpentry hobby. Their plot, located in Devanahalli, measured 64′ X 32′ with a built-up area of 3200 square feet. The property faces north, offering a view of the roadside. The south direction was adjacent to a park, while the other side had neighbouring plots.
Additionally, they requested natural materials and some arches in the elevation. In response, our firm proposed Spanish-style architecture, which immediately captivated the clients. We used exposed bricks in our design to make it more eco-friendly and to meet their request for natural materials.

Their needs and how we helped them-
We used open passive cooling strategies for Spanish House Design to meet the client’s needs for a lot of light and airflow. We installed a skylight on the roof for the stack effect, allowing warm air to escape through the skylight and providing sufficient space for sunlight and ventilation. In addition, we suggested rainwater harvesting and solar provision. Furthermore, we proposed a terrace garden, offering the client a beautiful landscape. This project adhered to the standard setbacks and featured an excellent setback design.

Although the design favors an open layout, we also ensured that some parts of the space remain secluded for privacy, per the client’s requirements for a Spanish House Design.

The dining area has an open layout connected to the living area, which makes the space feel like one big room in the Spanish House Design. Abundant sunlight and fresh air flow through the double-height ceiling, fostering a revitalizing atmosphere. A half-wall separates the living room from the dining room, giving more privacy without closing the space. The dining area has a beautiful deck with views that will take your breath away.
