The story of a client who wanted a Spanish House Design -
Spanish House Design epitomizes the dream of every couple to own a home they can call their own. A home where they can create memories, grow their family and share their lives. One couple from the north with an IT background who resided in an apartment in a bustling city in a gated community in Bangalore had this dream. They wanted a Spanish House Design that was unique and practical, with sustainable features and enough room for their growing family.
Client Requirements-
After conducting extensive online research, they stumbled upon our architectural firm. They had a clear vision of what they desired – a G+1 villa with 4 to 5 bedrooms, an open-plan layout, and a workshop for the husband’s carpentry hobby. Their plot, located in Devanahalli, measured 64′ X 32′ with a built-up area of 3200 square feet. The property faces north, offering a view of the roadside. The south direction was adjacent to a park, while the other side had neighbouring plots.
Additionally, they requested natural materials and some arches in the elevation. Spanish Revival architecture is often recognised for rounded arches, textured wall surfaces, warm materials, and asymmetrical façades. In response, our firm proposed Spanish-style architecture, which immediately captivated the clients. We used exposed bricks in our design to make it more eco-friendly and to meet their request for natural materials.

How Does Spanish House Design Bring Light, Airflow, and Openness Into a Home?
We used open passive cooling strategies for Spanish House Design to meet the client’s needs for a lot of light and airflow. We installed a skylight on the roof for the stack effect, allowing warm air to escape through the skylight and providing sufficient space for sunlight and ventilation. In addition, we suggested rainwater harvesting and solar provision. Furthermore, we proposed a terrace garden, offering the client a beautiful landscape. This project adhered to the standard setbacks and featured an excellent setback design.

Spacious modern foyer with a parking area-
The parking area can accommodate a single car and two motorbikes, while the foyer boasts a spaciousness that provides ample room for guests. Landscaping has been built into the Spanish House Design to add to the area’s appeal and make it even more inviting for visitors. Guests will immediately notice that the foyer is friendly and full of plants, drawing them in and setting a good tone for their stay.

An inspiring modern open living area -
The living area has an open-plan design with plenty of sunlight and ventilation, which the French doors that bring light into the room further enhance. A wall extending across the room conceals the kitchen from view, creating a TV unit area for undisturbed viewing. Although the design favors an open layout, we also ensured that some parts of the space remain secluded for privacy, per the client’s requirements for a Spanish House Design.

An eye-catching double-height dining area -
The dining area has an open layout connected to the living area, which makes the space feel like one big room in the Spanish House Design. Abundant sunlight and fresh air flow through the double-height ceiling, fostering a revitalizing atmosphere. A half-wall separates the living room from the dining room, giving more privacy without closing the space. The dining area has a beautiful deck with views that will take your breath away.

Modern open plan L shape kitchen with a counter -
The kitchen is easy to get to because it is right next to the dining area. The sleek wooden finish provides a contemporary aesthetic with stylish interior design. The L-shaped layout makes the most of small spaces by giving you many ways to store things without stopping the flow. Completing the entire kitchen is the front-facing breakfast counter, which adds an essential finishing touch to the space in this Spanish House Design.

With terrace gardening, people can grow their food and have a positive effect on the environment at the same time. It’s a win-win situation that improves physical and mental well-being while supporting sustainability.

A Stunning Seating area on the terrace with pergolas-
Having a stunning seating area on your terrace with pergolas offers many advantages. Firstly, it provides a perfect spot for relaxation and entertainment, enabling you to enjoy the beautiful outdoor view while spending time with friends and family. The pergolas provide a shaded area, protecting you from direct sunlight and making it ideal for outdoor dining, barbeques, or morning coffee. This seating area adds to the overall ambience and value of your property. It creates a comfortable, luxurious atmosphere that you can enjoy all year round, and it’s a perfect place to unwind after a long day.
