Spatial Planning

The clients’ vision for a G+5 commercial building plan that accommodates various functions office spaces, commercial zones, hotel rooms, a multipurpose hall, and a penthouse was translated into a practical, efficient design.

The ground and first floors are dedicated to commercial and office spaces, designed in alignment with Vastu principles.

Office and Convention Spaces

On the upper floors, the design integrates office areas with a convention hall, creating a visually striking yet functional layout. The central curved lobby, a standout feature in both the plan and elevation, brings natural light into the interiors adding vibrancy and warmth for visitors.

The first floor includes a factory setup connected to the office space below, allowing seamless interaction between administrative and production areas.

The curved lobby enhances engagement in common areas and provides an opportunity to install grand chandeliers, creating a luxurious welcome.

Accommodation & Layout Design

As the commercial building plan moves upward, the second floor introduces executive and single units for accommodation, complete with storage and pantry facilities.

A major part of the project includes 2BHK accommodation units that are larger in size. These units are designed for extended stays, with additional amenities such as extra storage, a small living area, TV unit, and private bedspace.

The upper floors house ten single and double occupancy units, including three 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom (2BHK) units and one single unit.

For recreation, the terrace includes a badminton court, an open lounge, and a box cricket area all designed within the flexibility of future expansion to a G+6 commercial building plan.

Elevation Exploration

The clients preferred a Neo-Classical style for the elevation to give the structure a timeless, elegant appearance. As this is a commercial building, glazing was added to the front façade to enhance openness and light.

Symmetry is the key design principle visible from every angle. The central curved lobby, introduced as part of the classical theme, ties the overall elevation together.

Given its south-facing orientation, special attention was given to sunlight management. Double-glazed tinted glass reduces heat while providing ample natural illumination. Adequate setbacks keep the building cool and spacious. The compound wall, with its grill design, ensures visibility from the street without compromising privacy.

The commercial building plan maintains visual symmetry even on the side elevations, creating an aesthetic balance throughout the design.
