1. Contemporary Style Architecture-
Today, the contemporary design style, often seen in luxury homes, is vastly popular. Contemporary elevation style characterizes simplicity and minimalism. This design style makes a bold statement with bold geometry and symmetric and asymmetrical features. Moreover, Contemporary design has the quality of being both beautiful and practical in homes.
In a 40×80 house plan in Bangalore, a tale unfolds where memories intertwine with modern architecture design. Entrusted to Design Thoughts Architects, an HR Manager desired a sunlit contemporary G+2 luxury home with a traditional touch. We conceptualized a central courtyard, ensuring natural light and honoring his heritage. Key features include a sunlit puja room, a harmonious blend of indoor-outdoor living spaces, French doors, bay windows, and a sleek I-Beam staircase. This residence, steeped in tradition yet adorned with contemporary elements, is a testament to design that echoes the past while embracing the future. Explore this 4 BHK contemporary home with us.

2. Minimal Style of Architecture-
It’s characterized by simplicity, clean lines, and a monochromatic palette with colour used as an accent. It usually combines an open floor plan, lots of light, and functional furniture, and it focuses on the shape, color, and texture of just a handful of essential elements typical in luxury home.
After a decade in Australia, an NRI couple moved back to India with their joint family of 10 people. They wanted a 7 BHK contemporary home that blended the modern touches of Australia and the warmth of India. The 3500-square-foot, open-plan house had an L-shaped design with toughened glass walls to maximize natural light and create indoor-outdoor harmony. The construction was composite with a steel structure. Check out our portfolio to see this unique luxury home design that’s stylish and homely. It’s the perfect mix for those wanting the best of both worlds.

3. Classical Style Architecture-
Classical architecture usually denotes architecture which is more or less consciously derived from the principles of Greek and Roman architecture of classical antiquity, or sometimes even more specifically, from the works of the Roman architect Vitruvius, often found in luxury home.
Explore our neoclassical luxury villa in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, inspired by ancient Greek and Roman designs with columns and fancy moldings. Used worldwide, this style is popular in Bangalore too. Our 32’x78′ villa blends classic and modern. Large windows let in plenty of light, saving on electricity. Even with its old-world charm, the luxury home feels spacious and open. The front area has plants, making it lively, and the windows have stylish steel railings for that classic touch.

4. Modern Architecture-
Modern architecture, or Modernist architecture, a 20th-century revolution, embraced new materials like glass and steel, often seen in homes. It’s believed a building’s design should match its purpose, favoring simplicity and efficiency over fancy decorations. This approach influenced famous buildings worldwide, and its ideas continue to shape how we design luxury home today.
Modern bungalows or homes are no longer just about aesthetics; they are about creating a harmonious balance between design, comfort, and sustainability. Our client envisioned a modern home for their family. Using advanced 3D visualization, we created a 30×40 triplex house that epitomizes modern living. The design, featuring a blend of glass, steel, and concrete, promises both luxury and efficiency. Notable features like vertical slats, wood and stone cladding, and expansive windows create a dramatic street view. Yet, today’s true marvel of a luxury home lies in its ability to illuminate efficiently.

5. Vernacular Style Architecture-
Vernacular architecture is a style created without formal training or professional input. It includes various building types worldwide, spanning both historical and existing structures. This style reflects pre-industrial societies’ architecture and represents most of their buildings and settlements.
Our 40’X60′ house in Nelamangala, Bangalore, blends old and new. It combines modern style with traditional methods. Modern architecture uses new materials, while the classic style, called vernacular, uses local materials. Our design has the best of both. Inside, it’s modern and spacious. Outside, it has a traditional brick front and jali work, using modern concrete and steel materials. It’s a unique house that combines the best of the past and the present, giving you a comfortable and stylish home. Explore this fusion of old and new with us in Nelamangala.

6. Traditional Style Architecture-
Traditional architecture is that way of building which makes serious use of the familiar symbolic forms of a particular culture of a specific people in a particular place. While traditional architecture respects its roots, it remains open to adopting contemporary technologies that offer advancements over previous methods.
Our client wanted a vacation farmhouse in Hassan with a Kerala touch. We designed it considering Vastu Principles, especially the Brahmasthan, a central, important spot. This house connects the inside with the beautiful outdoors. The design allocates most of the space for greenery rather than just the house. There’s a quiet patio for meals and relaxation. We planned the green areas for evening walks, offering a break from busy city life. The house faces east, using local materials, blending Kerala’s traditional style with modern touches. The entrance leads to parking, separating the house from the landscape.

7. Twin Homes Style Architecture-
A twin house design, often called a duplex, is an architectural style where one building houses two distinct living spaces. Generally, these two spaces mirror each other in layout and design, each boasting its own entry and personal areas. They frequently share a mutual wall and key structural features like the foundation and rooftop.
In Bangalore, we crafted a Twin house design for two IT professional siblings from Kolkata—the project, spanning 4800 sq. ft. and facing east, aimed to merge their shared vision. While the base design followed Vastu, the style leaned modern at the client’s preference. We offered various layouts before settling on the chosen design. A key feature is the projected balconies that face each other, adding character to the façade. Melding contemporary and modern styles, this home perfectly fits their joint living dream, all tailored by leading Bangalore architects. Dive in and explore this blend of simplicity and style.
